This video is focused on installing Octave, a scientific programming language much like MATLAB on MacOs High Sierra using Homebrew, which is a third party pa. Download the appropriate Dynare package for your version of Mac OS X from the website. Install Dynare by double-clicking on the package and following the installation instructions. The new GNU Octave 4.0.1 was released March 23, 2016. I would like to find some standard way to install it in El Capitan (mine OS X 10.11.3) because it has significantly better support in some fun.
